Our Team

Walking Alongside You on Your Journey

At Tamaca, we’re proud to have a diverse, multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals ready to support you. Our team is made up of experienced and passionate individuals – including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians, dietitians, social workers, and more – all working in concert to help children and families thrive.

We deliver services on-site in your community and online through virtual therapy, depending on what best meets your needs. Many of our therapists spend weekdays on the road visiting schools, homes, and community centers in rural, remote, and First Nations areas across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. We embrace each community’s hospitality and, in turn, treat each child and family we meet as part of our extended Tamaca family. If an in-person visit isn’t feasible, our therapists are equally comfortable providing telehealth sessions via secure video platforms – ensuring continuity of care no matter the distance.

What unites our team is a shared philosophy: lasting, positive relationships come first. We know that trust and rapport between our therapists and our clients (and their caregivers) is the foundation on which all progress is built. You’ll find our team members to be approachable, empathetic, and genuinely invested in each family’s goals. We collaborate closely with parents, teachers, Elders, and local health staff – whoever is part of a child’s circle of care – so that together we can achieve meaningful results. All of our therapy techniques and strategies are grounded in evidence-based practice, but we tailor them to fit the unique cultural and personal context of the people we serve.

We invite you to meet our team members below. Click on any name to read a short biography on the person’s background, qualifications, and what drives their passion for this work. We hope you’ll see that beyond the credentials (of which our team has plenty), each Tamaca therapist is a caring individual devoted to walking alongside you and your community on the journey toward better health and development.
