Taunya Wirzba, PT
My name is Taunya Wirzba, and I am a Physiotherapist registered with the Physiotherapy College of Alberta. I have been a PT for 30 years, supporting children from birth to age 18 in a wide range of settings, including the Stollery Children’s Hospital, the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, and urban and rural homes, schools, and nursing stations across the province. I have been working with Tamaca in First Nation schools and communities since 2019.
My goal is to work as part of a team with a cultural safety approach to service delivery, building strong relationships with each child, their family, and their intervention team. My husband and I have three adult children and a dog. I enjoy running, camping, spending time outdoors, and being with my mom, family, and friends.
