Ashley Rose, OT

Ashley is an Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of experience working in hospitals, clinics, schools, homes, and community settings across Edmonton and Northern Alberta. She has extensive experience supporting children and their families with fine motor delays, autism, sensory processing challenges, feeding issues, and complex physical needs including vision loss and cancer.

Ashley’s passion for pediatric occupational therapy is driven by her belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. She is inspired by the progress she sees in her clients—whether it’s a child learning to tie their shoes, building social skills, or gaining confidence in everyday tasks. These small victories are what make her work meaningful and fulfilling.

Growing up, Ashley witnessed the impact that caring and supportive adults can have on a child’s life. This experience continues to shape her commitment to equity, empathy, and empowerment. She focuses on building trusting, respectful partnerships with families and strives to meet them where they are, honouring their unique experiences and cultural backgrounds. Ashley is especially passionate about service navigation and helping families understand and access the resources available within their communities. Her advocacy ensures that children receive consistent, high quality support across home, school, and community environments.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, and being outdoors—especially gardening. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning and is always exploring new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
