Alaina Gamache, SLP
Alaina Gamache is a Registered Speech Language Pathologist with 13 years of experience. She has supported preschool, school age, and adult populations across a wide range of clinical areas, including speech sound disorders, developmental language disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, fluency, and literacy development. Alaina has worked in both public and private healthcare settings, including several years within school systems. Before becoming an SLP, she completed an Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education, giving her a strong understanding of education systems, including both their strengths and their challenges.
Alaina is deeply passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills and confidence to enhance their overall quality of life. She believes that sharing wants, needs, and experiences with others is central to human connection, and she is motivated to help children participate fully at home, at school, and in their communities.
Alaina values families and communities as essential members of the therapy circle. She is committed to building collaborative relationships with parents, caregivers, and teachers, recognizing the important role they play in a child’s growth, happiness, and development.
In her downtime, Alaina enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and the many animals on their farm in Northeastern Alberta.
