Kim Fraser, OT
I’m Kim Fraser, a Registered Occupational Therapist, parent coach, and mom of three. I hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and bring more than 25 years of experience supporting children and families in homes, schools, and community settings, working directly with children as well as those in a child’s circle of care.
My focus is on fostering understanding, building skills, increasing confidence, and supporting meaningful functioning in everyday life. My specialties include regulation, sensory processing and modulation, executive functioning, visual and motor skills, body awareness, picky eating, and sleep. I strive to embrace each child’s uniqueness, including their interests, strengths, learning styles, and areas where support is needed.
My motivation comes from both my clinical experience and my lived experience as a caregiver. I believe kids do well if they can, and my mission is to enlighten, inspire, and empower families and teams to see challenges through a new lens, just as my own experiences have guided me. I’m passionate about equipping families and members of a child’s circle of care with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies that truly fit.
I often view my role as a detective, problem solver, and coach—approaches that help me uncover barriers, find creative solutions, and guide children and families in meaningful ways. Many kids even call me Coach Kim, a title I wear with pride. My approach blends fun with function: engaging children in activities that build regulation, emotional awareness, and confidence, while empowering families, educators, and community partners with strategies they can use across environments.
At the heart of my practice is connection, creativity, and collaboration. I work to uncover each child’s unique strengths, support their families, and partner with their circle of care to ensure progress at home, at school, and in the community.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending time at the cabin with family and friends. I’m a big music lover and can often be found listening to music, dancing along, singing just for fun, or going to live concerts. Fun fact: my go to karaoke song is I Love Rock & Roll.
