Natasha Mosher, OT

My name is Natasha Mosher, and I graduated with my MSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2009. Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide range of settings, including schools, mental health programs, and community pediatrics. I am trained in Circle of Security, work from a trauma informed lens, and bring extensive experience supporting children and families with diverse needs.

My clinical work includes supporting children with chronic constipation, extreme picky eating, and problem feeding, as well as children with neurodivergences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, Tourette Syndrome, and Developmental Coordination Disorder. I also have specialized experience in parent coaching, emotional regulation, and sensory regulation.

My passion for occupational therapy and parent coaching has always been rooted in a desire to support children and their caregivers. This began with my undergraduate studies in child psychology and continued to grow through my specialization in pediatrics as an OT. My personal journey has shaped my approach as well. Growing up with a brother with special needs gave me early insight into the challenges families face, and becoming a mom to three children, some with neurodivergences, has deepened my empathy and strengthened my commitment to this work.

Alongside these experiences, exploring my own neurodivergence has offered me even greater understanding of the importance of individualized, compassionate support. I am especially inspired by the connections between trauma, mental health, and nervous system regulation, all of which fuel my commitment to providing families with tools for resilience, understanding, and growth.

My approach centres on helping children and families grow with confidence, connection, and compassion. I support families through play, regulation, and practical strategies that can be used at home, and I partner with caregivers to nurture resilience, joy, and understanding. Empowering kids and families to thrive together is at the heart of my work.

Originally from the east coast of Canada, I completed my undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University before pursuing graduate studies. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three and love spending time outdoors, camping, and staying active. I also share my home with Luna, my St. Bernard, who is currently working toward her pet therapy certification.
