Andrea Murty, PT

Andrea graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy (Honours) from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2012. She began her career in acute hospital care before discovering her passion for pediatrics after moving to Calgary. Since then, she has supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, trisomies, and other genetic and neuromotor conditions across schools, clinics, and community programs.

She has completed a range of advanced pediatric training courses that guide her practice. Andrea currently works with the Calgary Board of Education’s Inclusive Education Team and also subcontracts with Tamaca at the Eden Valley Stoney Trail Wellness Center and the Head Start building, where she is honoured to provide culturally responsive care to the Eden Valley First Nations community. Her practice blends in clinic therapy, universal supports, and family centered community care, with a strong commitment to helping children reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and their three active children, most often climbing or skiing together in the mountains.
