Jean Bae, SLP

My name is Jean Bae, and I am a Speech Language Pathologist. I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Alberta and have been working with Birchwood Circle of Care since 2021. I have experience supporting children with speech disorders, functional communication needs, social communication challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and pre school stuttering. I have also had the privilege of working in several First Nation communities, including Chipewyan Prairie First Nation in Janvier and Fort McKay First Nation.

I strongly believe in the importance of communication and in working collaboratively with families, communities, and professionals from many disciplines. My approach focuses on providing practical strategies and consistent modeling to support skill development. I also enjoy working toward functional goals that are meaningful and relevant to the people I work with.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and exploring a variety of arts and crafts.
