Andrea Armbruster, OT
Hello, my name is Andrea Armbruster. I have been an Occupational Therapist for 31 years and have worked with Tamaca Therapy Services since Fall 2019. My experience spans pediatrics, home care, long term care, and education, which allows me to offer well rounded, holistic, and developmentally informed recommendations and interventions. I value the opportunity to work alongside First Nation communities and consider myself a lifelong learner.
My work as an Occupational Therapist is driven by a desire to support others in reaching their full potential and improving their quality of life. Respect, empathy, and collaboration guide everything I do.
I work with children, families, school staff, and community partners using a holistic and goals focused approach. I believe in recognizing strengths, building practical skills, and supporting growth that leads to long term success and resilience.
Outside of work, I enjoy home development projects that let me be creative, hands on, and a problem solver. I also enjoy short runs that help me maintain balance and energy. Supporting our three children, now young adults, has been one of my greatest joys and sources of pride. These parts of my life keep me grounded, motivated, and connected to what matters most: growth, family, and lifelong learning.
