Carolyn Black, SLP

Carolyn Black is a Speech Language Pathologist who has been practicing since 2013, after completing her graduate training at the University of Wyoming. She has supported children and youth across a wide range of ages and settings, with a particular interest in working with autistic children through assessment, therapy, and consultation.

Her experience includes working with infants and toddlers, preschool and early learning environments, as well as school aged children and teens. Carolyn values a relational, team based approach and enjoys collaborating closely with families, educators, and other professionals to develop supports that are practical and meaningful in everyday life.

While most of her work has focused on pediatric populations, she is also beginning to expand into adult practice with curiosity and care. Across all ages, she brings a strengths based, collaborative approach grounded in connection and responsiveness.

Outside of work, Carolyn volunteers at a cat shelter with her children and enjoys cross stitching, learning new crafts, and camping.
