Megan Duszynski, SLP
Megan graduated from the University of Alberta in 2014 and has been practicing as a Registered Speech Language Pathologist in Alberta for more than 10 years. She has supported children and families across preschool clinics, schools, daycares, homes, and community settings. Her areas of specialization include early language development, speech sound disorders, language delay and disorders, and social communication. Megan also has experience supporting children who use augmentative and alternative communication. She stays current in her practice through ongoing workshops, conferences, and continuing education, ensuring her therapy reflects the most effective and up to date methods.
Family is the most important thing to Megan, and she strives to ensure that the children and families she meets feel heard, supported, and valued in their therapy journey.
Building trusting relationships with families is at the heart of Megan’s practice. She focuses on making therapy supportive, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s unique needs. She values collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams to create meaningful goals and lasting progress. Her clinical approach blends evidence based practices with individualized, play based, and functional therapy models.
Megan lives in Okotoks, Alberta with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys playing and watching sports, golfing, and curling up with a good book.
