Audrey Ewart, SLP

Audrey graduated with a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in 1999 and has more than 25 years of experience working in preschool and early education settings, schools, community programs, clinics, hospitals, and private practice. She has a specialized interest and advanced training in supporting children with severe speech sound disorders, complex communication needs, augmentative and alternative communication, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Audrey has extensive experience working with families and educators in both rural and urban settings.

She has a long standing interest in incorporating animal assisted therapies and nature based learning into her sessions. To support this work, Audrey has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Hippotherapy Treatment Principles through the American Hippotherapy Association and is currently completing her Equine Facilitated Learning coursework through Healing Hooves.

Audrey is passionate about functional outcomes and meaningful service delivery. She combines evidence based training with clinical judgement to determine the most effective and practical programs for children, families, and organizations. She believes it is an honour and privilege to support others through education, information, and strategies that make a meaningful difference in daily life.

Outside of work, Audrey enjoys spending time on her acreage, cheering on her two sons in their sports and life pursuits, and getting creative with stained glass and renovation projects.
