Kelsy is a Rehabilitation Practitioner and Registered Social Worker who has a passion for play, and using it to work on social emotional skill development. Kelsy has worked in schools and communities in urban and rural settings as well as in First Nation communities. She believes in the benefits of play for all ages. Kelsy has spent the majority of her career working to better the lives of children and their families and she believes that when we engage and support the family as a whole, and build on their strengths we accomplish better outcomes for children. She has worked as a family engagement worker, navigating healthcare, education and home needs while working directly with students to overcome their challenges. Kelsy is a Circle of Security and Restorative Justice Facilitator who is currently taking her certificate in Relational Therapeutic Play.  Kelsy lives on a farm in the Gwynne, AB area with her husband, two teenage boys and a menagerie of animals.
