Tamaca Therapy Services
Partners in the Circle of Care
Tamaca Therapy Services is a diverse team of dedicated allied health specialists – including speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, psychologists, dietitians, and social workers – all working together to support children, youth, and families. We proudly travel to rural, remote, and First Nations communities to provide in-person assessment, intervention, and counseling within clients’ home environments. For added flexibility, our therapists also offer virtual therapy and consultation via secure platforms like Zoom, Doxy.Me, and Google Meet. In every case, we collaborate with you to determine the best approach that fits your community’s needs and budget.
Our Story
In small communities across Canada, children are in need of specialists who may never arrive.
Tamaca was created to change that story. Founder Megan Stock grew up in Fort Smith, NWT, a remote town where getting help for a child’s speech or physical needs meant waiting months or travelling hours. She saw firsthand how lack of access can hold back a child’s potential. Fueled by these experiences, Megan envisioned a better way: what if the circle of care could extend to every community, no matter how far?
